    VDNH will host a meet-the-artist event with the team from the film "Baikal. The Magic of Water"

    On 29 November, VDNH will host an open meet-the-artist event with the creative team from the film "Baikal. The Magic of Water." On this day, Oceanarium visitors will be the first to see the best episodes from the film and learn interesting facts about Lake Baikal. The meeting will be held from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the second floor at the Moskvarium. Admission is free.

    VDNH Install Five New Landscape Compositions

    The Main Exhibition begins preparation work for the 2020 flower season. To make the unique landscape of VDNH even more colourful, the staff of the Exhibition has already started some of the preparation work. Next spring, visitors will see new green compositions in the Sibirsky and Nalchiksky Parks, by the Museum of Cinema and the fountain behind pavilion 64 Optics. Besides, a Möbius Strip natural attraction will decorate VDNH, by the Garden of Five Senses.

    The VDNH Turns 80! Excursion Becomes Permanent, By Popular Request

    The VDNH Turns 80! excursion created to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Main Exhibition of the Country (VDNH), has become so popular that organisers have decided to make it permanent with excursions taking place daily. Originally, the excursion was only scheduled for the summer season, but in response to a poll on the Active Citizen website, it has been extended indefinitely.

    Unique Archive of the VDNH Museum Now Available Worldwide

    The key exhibit of the VDNH Museum which opened this year for the anniversary of the Exhibition has become available worldwide. Now you can access Mediateca, our collection of unique historic documents, online. The archives of Mediateca include blueprints of the first VDNH pavilions dating from the 1930s, rare photos of the prolific expositions of the 50—60s, the timeline of the decline in the 90s, modern photos of renovated pavilions, and other unique artifacts from different eras.

    N. Sergunina: over 20,000 people visited VDNH Museum since its opening

    The VDNH Museum, which opened in the right wing of the Main Entrance on 1 August 2019, announced the first results following reopening. To celebrate the anniversary of Exhibition, the entrance to the museum was free until 8 September. Over 20,000 people visited the museum during this time. This was reported by Deputy Moscow Mayor, Natalia Sergunina.

    Free Transport to Move Around VDNH

    Electric cars adorned with the VDNH Anniversary symbols will run around the exhibition grounds for the convenience of guests until the end of September 2019. A special mini-train will take spectators to the VDNH Fairy Tale Theatre. Individual transfer service will be offered to guests with reduced mobility.

    VDNH Anniversary Hits Over 400,000 Visitors in 2 Days

    During the first two days of its 80th Anniversary, VDNH has seen more than 400,000 visitors. The anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the week, showering Moscow residents and guests with concerts by popular performers, a dance flash mob, a food festival and a unique drone show.

    On 1 August, the birthday of the Main Exhibition of the country, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin awarded a diploma and letters of gratitude from the Moscow City Government to the team and veterans of VDNH.
